A Message from Father Jim
Our July Solemn Novena corresponds with the celebration of several special celebrations in the Church. First, on July 22, the Memorial of St. Mary Magdalene, then the Feast of St. James on July 25, and on July 26, the Memorial of the grandparents of Jesus, Ss. Joachim and Anne. These feasts all remind us of people who knew Jesus in the flesh. They were people who walked with Jesus on the earth. This Novena is an apt time to remember all those who have accompanied us along the way: our parents, grandparents, those special folks who helped transform us into the people we are today.

July Novena Guest Preacher
Fr. Aaron Arce, O.P., is currently a member of the Southern Dominican Province and serves as a hospital chaplain at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas, Texas and as prior of St. Albert the Great Priory (the Southern Province Novitiate community) in Irving, Texas.
