About our solemn novena
Fr. Mark Paraday, O.P. became acquainted with the Dominican Fathers and Brothers through his contact with them at the Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus. In March 1951, Fr. Mark entered the Dominican Order and from 1959 to 1965, was assigned to the Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus.

In November of 1965, he was sent as a missionary to Bolivia, S.A. and was very active for years in youth ministry, pastoral ministry in the poor barrios, hospitals, jails, and working with street children.
During his years as a priest, the continued to serve in the previous mentioned ministries and was Vicar Provincial for Bolivia for 6 years. After almost 41 years of living and ministering in Bolivia, he returned to St. Pius V and the Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus, where he is currently assigned as the Pastoral Associate of the Shrine.
