PrayerNet is an extension of the Dominican Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus in Chicago, Illinois. The Shrine is a ministry of the Friars of the Province of Saint Albert the Great, USA. The Shrine is located within the parish church of Saint Pius V (Chicago).

Intentions are reviewed to ensure there is no identifying personal information, profanity, etc. Approved requests are published on this site so members of our prayer community can pray for your needs.

In addition, your intention is printed out and placed at the Shrine of St. Jude with all the other intentions we receive. These intentions are remembered at daily Masses and prayer services.

We speak of "the friends of St. Jude," but we see each person as a unique individual and we respect that in our ministry. We also take great pains to protect your confidentiality. Your personal information is never shared or displayed in any public place (either online or at the Shrine).

If you would like to speak with us in person, send us an e-mail at info@shrineofsaintjude.com or call our office at 312.226.0020 during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. CST/Chicago).

Today's reflection
Feast of Pentecost. Friends, we often reflect on how close we are to Jesus when we eat his body and drink his blood at Mass. Let's not forget that we are equally close to Jesus everywhere because he has given us his very own Spirit which unites with ours and impels us to do good.

Richard, O.P.
