Today's reflection
Feast of Pentecost. Friends, we often reflect on how close we are to Jesus when we eat his body and drink his blood at Mass. Let's not forget that we are equally close to Jesus everywhere because he has given us his very own Spirit which unites with ours and impels us to do good.

What God can do...
My 90 year old husband had a sore on his foot hat wouldn’t heal even with antibiotics due to poor circulation. The problem got so bad that the infection went into the bone. It was anticipated that he would need an amputation, but since he had many other health problems he would not agree to amputation. When the pain became unbearable he knew he had no other option but to agree to an amputation. It turned out that he only lost a big toe and a small part of his foot. He is now free of pain and can walk very well with a walker. I made a novena to St. Jude for a successful operation and cure of the infection and my intentions were granted. Thanks to St. Jude for interceding.
